Kate Obermiller, PTA, CLT-LANA earned her AAS Physical Therapist Assistant from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL, in 1987. She is LANA certified in Lymphedema Management and Kinesiotaping. She has completed numerous continuing education courses including:
- Lymphedema Management- Academy of Lymphatic Studies 2002
- Certification Program in Complete Decongestive Therapy and Manual Lymph Drainage (Vodder technique by the ACOLS in 2005)

- Advanced Conference for Male and Female Genital Lymphedema, Pediatric Lymphedema and Advanced bandaging techniques for the Upper and Lower Extremities

- Evaluation and Management of Head and Neck Lymphedema by Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy
